This is the first time that I have used this, so please bear with me!

Today dawned bright and sunny a light southerly wind was raising the temperature, a brilliant day to go out to one of the “Bajos” pinnacles.

But while others where loading the boat, I was on my way to Valença, just inside the Portuguese border to do a spot of instructing at the local pool.

Valença is a lovely fortified town and well worth a visit. It is also a good place to do shopping, plenty of bargains to be had. It is also a centre for linen. An interesting fact is you can buy towels by the Kilo! So if you do drive over there’s a way to get some of the cost back.
