The maritime archaeology conference was held at the new Museo do Mar in Vigo.
Many thanks to Dn Yago Abillera for an excellent and informative day.
Many topics were covered, but by far the most interesting to you and me is that the local gov is planning on opening up more sites for sports divers.

Well it’s March and this is the first post of 2009!
So far this year due to other commitments and completing the Poseidon maintenance course I have only managed two dives.
The first in the little dived Ria de Aldan, we were lucky and found a 18th cent anchor within minutes!
The next day a 50 min training dive with student around the Isla Santo, best of all its already 14C clear water!
Looking forward to an excellent season, why not come and join us ?
