Sports Diver

      BSAC Sports Diver:

Is a more advanced level that encompases decompresion stops, diving to a max of 36msw and rescue skills.

This is a 4-day course that further develops the skills learned in the Ocean Diver course building greater confidence and knowledge. You will gain skills and experience of diving in several different conditions. On completion you will be qualified to dive to 20 metres (if you choose to do the post qualification progress dives, the depth is increased to 36 metres) and will have gained knowledge of decompression stop diving. Also your abilities to assist other divers will be developed. This course consists of 6 theory lessons, a theory assessment, a sheltered water lesson, 5 open water lessons, and a “dry” practical lesson. The experience gained on this course will add a new dimension to your diving trips.

• Pre-requisite: qualified as BSAC Ocean Diver

• Minimum age: 12

• Ratio: 4:1
